Ny islandsk poesi (New Icelandic Poetry) is a collection of poems by 10 contemporary Icelandic authors, translated to Danish. The poems appear in Icelandic alongside the translation. The book is number three in a series of poetry in Danish translation. The others are Ny tysk poesi (New German Poetry) and Ny polsk poesi (New Polish Poetry).



Translations are by Nina Søs Vinther, Lóa Stefánsdóttir and Erik Skyum-Nielsen. Eiríkur Örn Norðdahl writes an afterword.



The poets are: Steinar Bragi, Kristín Eiríksdóttir, Ingólfur Gíslason, Haukur Ingvarsson, Eiríkur Örn Norðdahl, Kári Páll Óskarsson, Ófeigur Sigurðsson, Sölvi Björn Sigurðsson, Ingunn Snædal and Kristín Svava Tómasdóttir.
