The poem Undir kvöldhimni (Under the Evening Sky)

ICE-FLOE (Vol. VII, No.1: 2006)

Under the Evening Sky

Now when the lights come to life
one after another
high up on the vault of heaven
paths appear to me
glittering trails
a walker on his way
under an ice-cold mountain
with his mind filled up
with half-made songs.
