The Tómas Guðmundsson Poetry Prize

Bókmenntaverðlaun

The City of Reykjavík hosts a poetry prize, named after Reykjavík poet Tómas Guðmundsson. A panel of three judges chooses between unpublished manuscripts, which are subsequently published by some of the local publishers. The prize is awarded in autumn each year.
