<p>Glæpafélag Vestfjarða (The Westfjords Crime Organisation) is a fellowship dedicated to Icelandic crime fiction. The organisation awarded the Tindabikkjan prize (or The Starry Ray) each year to the author of that year's best Icelandic crime novel, between 2010 and 2015.</p>

<p>The recipient is gifted with a trophy by a Westfjords designer, along with two kilos of frozen starry ray.</p>
